Rethinking color change begins as soon as summer begins and ends. The Summer’s sunlight helps control brassiness on blondes, while darker and red color tend to fade.
Although, color transformations occur during the Summer and Winter months, hair color is constantly being reinvented. Here are some ideas on how you can always keep your hair color looking beautiful.
For the brunette, adding a glaze or adding warn highlights (honey, caramel) can be just the right change you need to enhance your color and your complexion.
For the blonde, adding a few lowlights (a level or a level and a half below your color) it's just what's needed to add dimension and a more natural looking appearance.
For the redhead, keeping your reds warm by way of glazing (golds, coppers) and staying away from cools tones (e.g, violet reds) will help maintain your color vibrant and rich.
Do not be afraid to re-invent yourself and your color. Just analyze and consider your lifestyle, skin tone and maintenance schedule before a major change.
Always remember that dramatic color transformations may change the condition of your hair and taking baby steps to achieve a more dramatic change (e.g., dark brown to blonde) is always more safer for your hair. Taking baby steps will give you time to adjust to the color change of your choice.
Remember, Shiny, Happy Hair Is What's Always In!
