How to Enhance Your Legs!

Enhancing our most attractive features is in our head when we purchase a fashionable item; whether they are clothes, shoes, accessories or make up. Just as much as we would like to enhance, we also want to hide imperfections and those not so glamorous features.

Take for instance your legs. Some women may hesitate to wear anything short for fear of showing an imperfection. But there are ways you can show those beautiful legs by just doing a few things.

If you have scars, a little bit of make up, tan or hosiery can camouflage those marks.

If you are concerned about the dimension of your legs, don't panic. Here, I share some tricks to give you confidence to flaunt those hot legs:

If you have short, thin or curvy legs: Opt for a pair of shoes or sandals that look delicate with a a thin strap. wear them below your ankles. It will help elongate your legs without overwhelming them.

If you have long legs that are skinny: Opt for a pair of shoes with a thicker strap. You can wear them above your ankles. These straps are perfect to accentuate your curvy legs and calves.

If you have long legs: You can wear wide straps. If you have long, but very skinny legs wear straps that are medium or thin in size. Remember overwhelming our beautiful features is not what we want...Enhancing them is!

Home Hair Coloring: Tips on How to Reduce Your Anxiety and Increase Your Confidence

We take pride on being self-sufficient. In fact, as parents we encourage our children to be independent from a very early age. Do-It-Yourself (DIY) projects are increasingly becoming  more and more like a staple for cautious spending. As a colorist, I do not condemn the use of store bought color. I believe people have needs and sometimes their resources cannot fully meet them. Another driving force to an increase in DIY home coloring, is today's economy and the Covid-19 Pandemic. Many men and women are finding very difficult to see their stylists on a regular basis, so they take the DIY challenge to save money and time. However, with any undertaken challenge comes a mixture of emotions. Going to a drug store to choose the perfect hair color shade can be a very daunting experience. The biggest obstacle for women (and men) is choosing the right shade. Manufacturers do a fantastic campaign job ( with high profile models and actresses) to allure consumers to believe that home

What It Means To Be A Master Hairdresser

“If people knew how hard I worked to get my mastery, it wouldn’t seem so wonderful at all” Michelangelo Instant mastery of hairdressing skills is something we all like to achieve as soon as we complete beauty school. Wait, not so fast! The reality is that the road ahead can be demanding and laborious. Becoming a master hairdresser requires humility, patience and hard work. Like any other field, hairdressing has its specialties (color and hairstyling) and sub specialties (keratin, texture hair, sessions, updo, etc.). It gives us ample choices to select an area to master. It's been tested and tried, no matter the field, that time and practice leads to expertise. No matter where you are, it takes at least two years of preparation to be a good hairdresser and six years and above to be great or achieve mastery. No matter how skillful you may think you are, the more you learn the greater you’ll be. Albert Einstein once said “Only one who devotes himself to a
